Kia is excited to announce that their most iconic vehicle, the Kia Soul, will receive several modernized upgrades for the 2023 model year!
The 2022 Kia Soul has had some exterior upgrades that make it even more stylish and unique. The front grille is now more dynamic in styling, with an increased angular design flanked by refined headlights. You can also get MFR LED headlights and LED Daytime Running Lights (starting at EX) to give the Soul a signature presence and high-tech imagery. On the rear, the vehicle maintains its planted stance but now features a more modern outer lens around the taillights and a simplified rear bumper. New for 2023 is a 17-inch wheel design available on the EX+ trim, matching the angular styling of this refreshed model. The GT-Line trim features a distinctive grille with a technical mesh pattern, body-colored front and rear bumpers, a center exit exhaust, and a chrome garnish that runs along the back of the vehicle. This trim also comes with exclusive 18-inch alloy wheels. To further personalize your vehicle, you can choose the new Surf Blue exterior paint option.
You are in for a treat with the 2023 Soul! Along with a brand-new steering wheel design, you can also expect to see the 4.2-inch cluster from the 2023 Sportage. Plus, the center fascia design is more seamless than ever before. And if that wasn't enough, there is even an optional 10.25-inch AVNT Multimedia Integrated Navigation System featuring Kia's impressive Kia Connect Telematics system. But don't worry, the Soul still has plenty of space.
The 2023 Soul still has the same 2.0L MPI 4-cylinder engine, delivering 147 horsepower and 132 lb. ft. of torque with 7.9L/100 kilometers of combined fuel economy. However, there have been driving experience improvements made to the Soul's ride handling as well as a reduction in noise, vibration, and hardness through the optimization of sound-absorbing materials.
The 2023 Soul will feature some new safety enhancements, including leading-edge technology from Kia's Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS).
If you have any potential rear occupants in your vehicle, this system will provide an audible alert and message in the instrument cluster for the driver to check the rear seats. The warning message appears when the engine is shut off and the driver's door is opened so that you can be sure to not leave anyone behind.
If you are looking for a helping hand while driving on highways, consider getting the Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control (NSCC-C). This handy tool will help reduce your speed as you approach curves in the road, making for a safer overall journey.
This car has a feature called Highway Driving Assist (HDA) that uses federal highway speed limit information from the navigation system. Under certain conditions, it will automatically adjust speed to be within the posted speed limit and maintain distance from the vehicle detected in front. This is a helpful feature if you want to make sure you are driving within the speed limit.
